Strategic Endeavors LLC was formed to assist small to mid-size business owners in successfully selling their businesses and realizing the maximum value from the process. What a natural marriage: we will create liquidity for the client and then you can invest and manage that liquidity.

You may have clients that would like to sell their businesses and are waiting for a buyer to come along. This approach will not produce the most favorable result for them and may result in substantial value being lost at the closing table. It is a reactive approach that puts the buyer in the drivers seat. They will not have properly prepared the information to communicate the true economic value of the business and will be subject to the timing of the buyer and fate.

Contrast this with a proactive approach where thorough preparation is made, proper timing is assessed, buyers are identified, screened, qualified and then managed, and the process is conducted in a competitive environment that keeps pressure on the buyer and shifts leverage to the seller.

To conduct this kind of process, an intermediary needs experience, knowledge and most importantly, the ability to earn the trust of both buyer and seller. Strategic Endeavors LLC has these qualities and successful transactions to prove it. We believe our services will lead to more completed transactions and more successful transactions for your clients and in turn generate significantly more liquid funds for you to manage. In addition, we occasionally are in a position to refer our seller clients to qualified financial advisors that can assist them in investing transaction proceeds.

A related service that we provide which may be of value to you and your clients is business valuation. We do the information gathering and recasting as discussed on the Business Valuation page and then work with one of several independent third-party appraisal firms to produce the required level of valuation report. These valuation firms are accredited, practice full-time in the mergers and acquisitions arena, are very attuned to the marketplace, and offer very competitive prices due to the volume and proficiency that comes from strictly doing business valuations. The valuation may be for estate planning, partnership disputes, divorce settlements, sale of the business, or other similar purposes.

Finally, we regularly attend conferences to try and stay abreast of the latest trends in the mergers and acquisition field since it is our full-time livelihood. As such, we may be a resource for information on specific techniques and tactics that could be of value to you and your clients in specific situations. Feel free to call us anytime.
